Misty is a native of Cushman, Arkansas and teaches the transitions classes for the Pre-ETS program at Rose Bud, Pangburn, White County Central, and Bald Knob schools. Misty is a 2012 graduate of the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts. After graduating high school, Misty attended Southern Arkansas University and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science with an emphasis in Animal Science. 

Misty discovered her passion for working with disabilities while working on her thesis to study the effectiveness of hippotherapy (equine assisted therapy). 

Misty has 1 son and during her free time you can find her spending time with family and riding her 10 horses.
