Kimberly “Kim” Cervantez
Hi, my name is Kimberly Cervantez. I was born and raised in Arizona where I met my now husband, Matthew. We have been married for 3 years and counting. We do not have children at the moment, but we do have fur babies. We have 6 dogs (Liberty, Roxie, Joker Batman, Oscar and Twinkie), 1 mini pig (Dynamite), and 1 Indian Ring neck (Rio). My husband and I have lived in Arkansas now for 2.5 years and although it was a big change coming from the desert, we have grown to love it out here.
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my animals. My hobbies include reading, baking, and gardening.
I started out in the field of working with individuals with disabilities at the age of 18 in a group home setting back in Arizona. I continued working in group homes and in home care until about 2018 when I started as a job coach. I worked as a job coach back home for Achieve and then transferred to the day program within the same agency. After awhile in the day program, I switched to the administrative side until Covid came along. When I moved to Arkansas, I started as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for an agency that was a service provider for the Arkansas CES Waiver program. Later, I become a Direct Care Supervisor for that same agency. After some time, I took on the same role as a Direct Care Supervisor for Myers-Davis.
