Maneuvering Chaos

Life is chaotic, but there can be outside events like the flu pandemic, coronavirus, SARS, and many other things that cause panic levels to rise.  Learning how to cope with this type of panic is essential to destressing your life.

Put Everything in Perspective

If there are tons of panic-inducing things on social media, take a break from social media.  Look at reputable sources and determine what is really going on and what type of precautions should be taken to remain safe.  Avoid sensationalized media sources and stick to the facts.

De-Stress

If you are having a stressful day or week, do not take on new tasks.  Find ways to delegate tasks and try to make room for yourself to relax.  Prioritize tasks and determine what is truly necessary and what can be put off for another day.

Recognize

Recognize stress and accept it.  Recognize the stressors that occur in your life and make a list of all the things stressing you out.  Most stressors are relationships, jobs, money problems, health, and fear.  Realizing your fears and facing them head-on is the key to overcoming.

Cut Out

Cut out people and things that cause you stress if possible.  Learn to ignore other’s opinions about yourself and your actions.  Be confident in yourself and your opinions.  Understand your worth and minimized contact with those who don’t.

Meditate

Taking time out for yourself to relax and think of nothing is one of the best therapies.  Maybe taking a break and stretching will help you or taking a bit of time for a massage to ease the stress in your muscles is the answer.  The point is to take time to just get away from the everyday pressures and stresses of life.

Spend time with loved ones

You are blessed to have family and friends that love you.  Don’t shut them out, instead relish in their company and existence in your life.  Your loved ones are those that inspire you and believe in you and they should be treasured.

Healthy Lifestyle

Eat well and exercise to get a healthy lifestyle that minimizes chaos and drama.  This won’t end the chaos on your life, but it can prevent it from occurring in the future.  Healthy people can usually minimize the stress involving health problems and depression.

Keep Learning

Make sure to always keep learning and avoid being busy just to have something to do.  Try new activities that will enrich your life is a wonderful way to get out of the chaos of everyday life.  Learn to play a musical instrument, try cooking new cuisine, and even consider writing poetry.

Take Life Less Seriously

Life is meant to be enjoyed.  There are always difficult times where life can be hard to deal with, but that is why it is important to make sure you are always enjoying it and doing your best with what you have been given.  Laughing and acting crazy at times is a sign of a life worth living.
