Social Security Youth Resources

The Social Security Administration has a superb collection of documents called a Youth Toolkit. This Toolkit is full of helpful resources designed for transition-aged youth 14-17 with disabilities. The goal is to help the youth prepare for a successful adulthood. This Toolkit can be useful to the youth and their parents, teachers, health providers, caregivers, or representatives. These resources cover topics such as what services are available to them, what happens when they turn 18, and how their benefits will be impacted when earning money from a job.
